WWF to speak at Vitafoods Europe
The organisers behind Vitafoods Europe have announced an exciting high profile addition to the speaker line-up at this year’s Supplier Seminar Theatre. Nina Jensen, Conservation Director for the World Wide Fund for Nature in Norway, will speak on ‘Sustainable Management of Krill in the Southern Ocean’ on behalf of integrated biotechnology company, Aker Biomarine.
Aker BioMarine and WWF Norway work together on sustainable krill harvesting and management in the Antarctic Ocean. The co-operation is aimed at ensuring that future krill harvesting is consistent with sustainable practices as well as encouraging dialogue with experts to ensure Aker BioMarine`s fishery operations are at the forefront of environmentally sound and sustainable performance.
