World Fruit & Vegetable Show
The WF&V Show is a “trade-only” fruit and vegetable show held in the United Kingdom, presenting the most innovative fresh and processed products in the fruit and vegetable sector.
At last year’s show, companies from over twenty-two countries exhibited products from a wide range of categories: fresh fruit and vegetables, potatoes, salad leaves, fresh cut/convenience/catering produce, organic products, flowers, packaging, logistics, etc.
As part of the five forums scheduled to run along side the Show, a forum has been developed to discuss “bio-technology” within the modern agricultural environment. One of the speakers within the forum will be Dr Helen Ferrier who is the NFU’s Chief Science and Regulatory Affairs Adviser. She has worked for the National Farmers’ Union for four years and her main areas of policy expertise in the NFU are food standards, labelling, nutrition, biotechnology, and agricultural science and research.
