Widco introduced a new line of wine-infused sea salts, pre-moistened so that consumers can make professional-standard cocktails without the need to lime or wet the rim of the glass beforehand.

The cocktail salts are available in triple berry or chocolate and raspberry combinations, and will stay in place instead of sliding down the glass, the company said. They are available in two different sizes: 4oz for $9.99 and an 8oz party pack for $16.99, with further availability in wholesale formats.

Widco has also launched wine-infused cooking salts designed to offer a replacement to regular table salt, also available in 4oz format in raspberry blush and triple berry flavours with a retail price of $8.99.

There is also wine-infused finishing salts, which start with Fleur de Sel French sea salts that are then infused using a wine infusion process developed by Widco’s CEO, Danita Harris. They are available in 2oz coffee and raspberry, as well as triple berry, for a retail price of $12.99. The gourmet salts are “considered to be the ‘caviar of the sea’,” the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based company added.
