Vitafoods Asia: innovation to be main theme with packed programme of cutting-edge products to be presented

A ginseng leaf extract for reducing cholesterol; Evonia Keratin capsules that improve skin, hair and nails; and Cartisorb sticks which deliver 1500 mg Glucoasmine are just some of the latest innovations on the market that will be showcased at Vitafoods Asia.

An innovation-packed New Products Zone, sponsored by Ingredia Nutritional, is a key visitor attraction at the show, which is taking place from 5-7 September at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.

Located near the show entrance, the New Products Zone will feature over 100 of the latest products launched in the last 12 months by some of the most forward-thinking companies in the nutraceuticals industry.

Ingredia Nutritional is set to showcase a range of new innovations including Relax Water, which contains Lactium© and can be used to formulate drinks that alleviate different kinds of stress, from chronic to acute, as well as Prodiet Fluid, which can be used to formulate high-protein beverages for diet, sports and clinical nutrition markets.

Meanwhile, Futurebiotics will showcase 3 Joint Solution©, which has been shown to relieve joint discomfort in a little as six weeks; Inoreal will present Satireal, a patented saffron extract formulated to reduce hunger and snacking by encouraging the release of serotonin; and CreaNutrition will preview its Crispy Hearts cereal, which contains oat beta-glucan and offers heart health benefits.

The show will also feature a Finished Products Zone, which will be set up as a dedicated area for dietary supplement manufacturers seeking to launch products in markets across Asia. The zone will include a Tasting Bar, giving visitors the opportunity to be among the first to sample the latest products on the market, from sports drinks and cereal bars to children’s supplements.

Visitors can sample exciting innovations including Hongjiu Biotech’s 100% natural red ginseng root product, which delivers an energy boost in just one slice; an immune system boosting drink from Monteloeder; and Walmark’s Martians Gummies, a tasty fruit flavoured multivitamin for children containing the vitamins and minerals essential for proper growth and development.

“Bursting with innovation and predicted to be double the size of last year’s debut, Vitafoods Asia is set to reflect the rapidly growing Asian nutraceuticals market, which is catering to an expanding middle class population with a huge range of exciting products unique to the region,” says Chris Lee, Vitafoods Asia Event Director.
