US food producer Pereg showcases range of baking flours
American food producer Pereg Natural Foods has developed a range of unique baking flours.
The new line consists of almond flour, banana flour, buckwheat flour, coconut flour, quinoa flour and farro flour. The six-strong line boasts non-GMO project verification and the Whole Grain Council’s stamp of approval, as well as being kosher-certified and containing only vegan ingredients.
The whole range of flours are packaged in stay-fresh, resealable pouches, New Jersey-based Pereg said. They offer a healthful substitution for whole wheat flour in standard recipes and feature delicious recipe ideas on the back of each package.
The new flours were launched at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco this week.
Pereg also produces a range of rice, pasta and couscous foods; salads, spreads and toppings; as well as a portfolio of spices and seasonings.
