Ukrainian Dairy Group Resumes Cheese Production

Ukrainian branded dairy company Ukrproduct Group has resumed hard cheese production at its Starokonstantinovskiy plant and will restart selling in the second half of 2010. Production was suspended last summer due to price cutting and flooding of the market by local producers during the first half of 2009. However, hard cheese prices have risen in the second half of 2009 and profitability is expected to improve in the second half of 2010, when the product is usually seasonally in demand.
