UK juice packer upgrades line with Makro roll-feed labeller
UK-based juice, vitamin water and iced tea packer Fielding Dairies has upgraded its packaging line with the installation of a new Makro Mak 1-12 roll-feed labeller.
The new labeller, which is due to be installed in the early part of 2016, will be used to apply wraparound roll-feed plastic labels to 250ml, 330ml, 400ml and 500ml bottles at a speed of 12,000 bottles per hour. The current bottles are heat seal PET bottles with a 38mm neck finish.
It will be the third roll fed labeller from Makro to be installed in the UK within the last 12 months, with Radnor Hills having purchased two machines in November.
