Two of industry’s detection heavy weights, Loma Systems and Lock Inspection, will debut their new collaboration at the Total show, 4-6 June 2013, stand FG60.

These two inspection equipment giants have recently joined forces, creating the most diverse, technically advanced and service focused operation with global reach. Specialising in cutting edge metal detection, checkweighing and x-ray inspection systems for the food and pharma industries, their joint stand at Total will display eight working systems, including the launch of Loma’s new X4 x-ray and UK show debut of Lock’s latest PH Pharmaceutical detection system.

“Loma, an innovative leader in the food industry, and Lock, a powerhouse in the pharma sector, will together embrace the future of inspection through innovation and world-class service to deliver unmatched technology and experiences for food and pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide,” commented Loma’s UK Sales Manager Tony Bryant.

New Loma X4 X-ray! Along with vertical fall, pipeline and throat detectors on the stand, the show will launch Loma’s new X4 X-ray system which has been designed to match any line speed. New to the system, which automatically detects contaminants including metals (inc. metalised packaging), bone, glass, PVC, stone, rubber and flavour/sugar clumps, advanced image processing software automatically calibrates for each product and sets the optimum power levels for quick set-up and changeover without operator aid. This ensures the best performance setting per product; ideal for manufacturers with large and varied product ranges. The Loma X4 X-ray system offers the very latest advances in X-ray technology, coupled with the highest levels of accuracy, reliability, safety and longevity.

Show debut for Lock’s PH Pharmaceutical! New to Lock’s INSIGHT range and it’s first show debut, the PH Pharmaceutical system can inspect up to 30,000 tablets per minute at the highest documented levels of sensitivity in the industry. With live trials on the stand, the signature design promotes best-in-class stability even in the chaotic environment of an exhibition.

Live testing! Visitors to the show are invited to bring sample shelf ready product to the Loma/Lock stand where they can inspect their products, receive one-to-one advice and product training, plus see for themselves the unrivalled performance of Loma and Lock metal detection, checkweighing and x-ray systems in action.
