Tna launches “world’s first” form, fill and seal PE pack machine
Food packaging machinery specialist Tna has claimed that it has launched the world’s first vertical form, fill and seal (VFFS) rotary polyethylene packaging machine
The latest product for the company’s Tna Robag range offers efficiencies of up to 99 %of target output while reaching unrivalled speeds of 150bpm, according to Tna.
The firm said that the machine has a rotary jaw design that uses advanced impulse sealing technology to “deliver high quality, consistent packaging, with high levels of accuracy”.
According to Tna, product waste is reduced due to the optimised product transfer from the multi-head scale through to the jaws. In addition to this, Tna said that its rotary double flat jaw (RDFJ) configuration doubles the throughput in comparison to the standard single jaw packaging systems that are currently on the market.
Tna managing director Michael Green said: “We’re thrilled to be unveiling our unique VFFS PE machine at PackExpo 2012.
“The Tna 3ci really is a groundbreaking addition to our existing innovative packaging portfolio, and expands our capabilities to an even wider range of applications. We’re dedicated to offering the highest levels of performance and efficiency to our customers. This commitment, combined with our outstanding technical expertise and unrivalled after-sales service, means that we can rightly claim to be total packaging solutions specialists.”
