Three new Kliklok machines for Belgian food producer
Kliklok has just installed THREE of their new KII cartoners to Belgian frozen food producer NANUK. Based in Waragem, this family run company has a number of Kliklok machines in operation. A huge increase in demand for their high quality savoury and dessert products led to Nanuk placing their order for three brand new machines.
An improved version of the Kliklok ‘K’ model, the new ‘KII’ hand pack cartoner offers an exceptionally reliable and cost effective end load cartoning solution. Whether just beginning to automate or looking for a versatile system to accommodate a wide range of product and packages, the KII is designed for low-maintenance operation, providing speeds up to 80 cartons per minute.
Unlike the previous painted ‘K’ machine, the KII has a rigid & robust stainless steel construction, to comply with the food industry’s demanding wash-down and sanitary requirements. Also, the KII size range is more generous than its predecessor – offering a maximum 115mm width of opening as standard, to cater for a wider range of applications and maximum flexibility.
New features include a text display colour touch screen, for ease of operation, fault diagnosis & speed adjustment, as well as a powered carton hopper for longer production runs. Also, in a distinct change from the previous ‘glue wheel’ method, the KII is fitted with an enclosed hot melt glue system, with nozzle type application for efficient & accurate closure
