Thermo King Receives Ninth Consecutive AFSCA for Best Reefer Cargo Equipment Provider – Sea Freight
Thermo King, a manufacturer of temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, received the Best Reefer Cargo Equipment Provider – Sea Freight award for the ninth straight year at the 26th annual Asian Freight & Supply Chain awards (AFSCA) held in early June in Shanghai.
There were several hundred transport, logistics and supply chain executives from around the region in attendance. The 2012 AFSCAs, was organized by market leading transport and logistics newspaper Cargonews Asia.
The AFSCA awards honour the respective winning organizations for demonstrating leadership as well as consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability. Final voting is conducted by Cargonews Asia’s readers, and the results are independently audited. Approximately 39 awards were given out in a variety of categories.
Specific criteria considered in the Best Reefer Cargo Equipment Provider – Sea Freight category includes:
- Quality of equipment
- Level of service
- Reliability
