The Future of Nutraceuticals – Discussion Forum to Debate Opportunities and Challenges
International experts will gather at next month’s Vitafoods Europe Discussion Forum to debate the top 10 opportunities and challenges for bringing functional foods and supplements to market in the next decade.
Chaired by Simon Pettman from EAS, this year’s free-to-attend Discussion Forum will be chosen, rated and explained by a panel of multi-disciplinary experts in marketing, regulation, ingredients and finished products including Bas Van Buijtenen of DSM, Henry Dixon of BDB, Hartwig Sievers of Phytolab and Patrick Coppens of EAS.
Issues addressed will include innovation, European competitiveness, sustainability and food safety. Participants to the Forum will also be able to take away a free overview document of key regulatory and policy measures under development and an assessment of how they will impact the nutritional products sector.
The Discussion Forum will build on the success of last year’s debate, when more than 250 participants were given a unique glimpse of the implications of the Claims Regulation for business.
Participants can hear their own queries answered, by sending questions for panellists to forum@eas.eu. For further details on Vitafoods Europe, which takes place from 10–12 May 2011, visit www.vitafoods.eu.com.
