Schubert strengthens UK team
Schubert, the automated packaging system specialists, have further strengthened their UK subsidiary with two new appointments to the sales and service team.
Alex Hofmann, who has worked for Schubert GmbH since 2001, has relocated to the Meriden based company as sales account manager. Having graduated from Schubert apprentice school in June 2004, Alex went on to complete two years of training to become a certified engineer in mechanical engineering. He has since been supporting Schubert UK as a project manager and has been involved in many machine installations.
Alex says he is delighted to be joining the UK sales team, and is looking forward to increasing his experience in sales as well as sharing his technical expertise.
Paul Weatherson, who is located in Castleford, is Schubert’s new service engineer. He brings a wealth of experience to his new role having worked in the food packaging industry for 18 years. Paul has joined Schubert UK from Fox’s Biscuits, Batley where he was Engineering Technician and before that maintenance electrician for Manor Bakeries.
Paul will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Schubert machines as a member of Schubert UK’s after sales team, which offers routine service contracts, spare parts and 24/7 technical support services.
“I am thrilled to be joining Schubert and look forward to
playing a key role in providing high quality after sales service” said Paul.
