Samworth Brothers Launches New Food-To-Go Business
Samworth Brothers, the family-owned British food group, has launched a new food-to-go business and delivery service – Fresh Food For Now Company. The new venture marks the evolution of the existing Ginsters van operation into a fresh new business, offering vendors a complete food-to-go solution with an extended range of brands and products to cater for the on-the-go consumer.
The UK food-to-go sector is a growing market, predicted to be worth £22.8 billion by 2023 and with consumer needs constantly evolving the transition to a business which encompasses a larger variety of brands comes at a timely period.
Fresh Food For Now Company will operate from 16 nationwide sales offices and will provide retailers with extensive category management expertise and flexible ordering systems. To further support retailers, Fresh Food For Now Company will also be launching a new website, offering essential advice and support for retailers and providing valuable market and customer insight. Soon, customers will also be able to use the website to submit orders in a bid to further simplify the ordering process.
