Product of the Year 2018 Now Open For Entries
Product of the Year – the UK’s largest independent survey of product innovation – is now in its 14th year running. The prestigious awards, open to all FMCG retailer and branded products, shine a spotlight on the most innovative products launched within the past 18 months. Voted for by over 11,500 consumers, winning products gain more than £730,000 worth of media coverage across consumer, trade and product-specific titles, ensuring continued support throughout the award-winning year.
Products that receive the coveted Product of the Year seal of approval are able to use it as their key promotional platform throughout the year, including in all consumer and trade, broadcast and print advertising, and social media, plus in-store and on packaging. Typically, this results in sales increases of between 10-15% as a minimum – previous winners have reported a sales uplift of 135% as a direct result of their win.
The 2017 awards were the launchpad for a hugely successful Instagrammer influencer campaign, reaching over 340,000 people and securing over 8,800 likes. #ProductoftheYear trended once again on Twitter, gaining 3.5 million views and crowning 2017 a record breaking year for consumer engagement.

Entries for the awards must be submitted by 31st July 2017. The products then undergo an independent judging process and are voted for by consumers as Product of the Year 2018. The overall winners will be invited to celebrate together at a glittering awards ceremony held in late January 2018.
