450-LX500eAt Speciality & Fine Food Fair, label printing equipment manufacturer Primera Technology is set to showcase its newest and most affordable desktop colour label and tag printer LX500e.

Its high-yield, tri-colour ink cartridge keeps cost per label low, while the fast print speeds and an optional built-in guillotine-style cutter allow users to quickly and easily print and cut their short-run labels. LX500e is the perfect printer for start-ups and other small businesses. They know that their labels must look professional in order to stand out. With an LX500e they can produce labels that look as good as, or even better, than large, national branded products.

For larger production runs the LX2000e Color Label Printer with its separate ink cartridges for cyan, magenta, yellow and black keep operating costs low since only one colour at a time needs to be replaced. LX2000e utilises large pigmented ink cartridges that meet the standards of BS5609, one of the most rigid durability qualifications in the world for printed output. Printed labels are exposed to immersion in water, salt spray, abrasion and UV light. Conforming to this standard is required for producing GHS hazardous material labels on a desktop label printer.

Other typical applications for both printers include product labels for coffee, wine, bakery, confectionary, meat, cheese and hundreds of other specialty and gourmet foods.

To see the printers in action visit Primera at Speciality & Fine Food Fair at stand #4010. The show takes place in Olympia, London, September 4th to 6th.

Headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, USA, Primera Technology, Inc. is one of the world’s leading specialty printer manufacturers. Its products are sold worldwide through Primera Authorized Resellers and Distributors in more than 222 countries.
