Press makers come to the fore at Carton Conference
Litho and digital print processes will come under the microscope at the BPIF’s Carton Conference next month
Press suppliers Heidelberg, KBA and Komori will be exhibiting while HP will focus on its new digital carton press (pictured).
Other names include digital offset press maker Presstek, carton production specialist Edale and WH Leary, which will showcase its quality control systems.
Neal Whipp, BPIF Carton’s general manager, said: “In this instant age everything has to be completed ‘yesterday’ but digital is not the only option for converters facing ever more demanding schedules from brand owners and retailers.
“All the key press manufacturers have made huge strides in reducing make ready times so do you need a new process to be ultra responsive? Anyone that needs an answer to this question should come to the conference and engage with our machinery sponsors.”
The BPIF Carton Conference runs at the Business Design Centre, London, from 4-5 October.
