Preactor Global Conference “the best ever”
APS specialists from 24 countries share planning and scheduling expertise and trends from around the world
CHIPPENHAM, UK – July 29, 2011 – Preactor International, the world’s leading specialist planning and scheduling Software Company celebrated what it described as “the best ever” global partner conference. The event held each year in June drew this year Preactor partners from 24 countries and represents one of the largest international gatherings of production planning and scheduling specialists in the world.
The purpose of the partner week is the sharing of excellence and expertise within the Preactor planning and scheduling community at a technical and customer delivery level. Given that Preactor is used in practically every industry sector, it is an invaluable time to feed back business trends from different countries with a view to adding to partners’ abilities to use best practises to deliver the consistently high service levels that Preactor is renowned for.
Each year an award is presented to the Preactor partner that demonstrates the best case study in terms of scale of demonstrable benefits achieved by the end user. This year the standard was so high that two companies were recognised for their achievements, Prętczyński from Poland and Accera from Brazil, which both showcased the transformative power of APS in manufacturing. Success in terms of overall sales is also recognized with Scheduling Solutions from South Africa and Preactor Europe headquartered in Lyon each being added to the Red Diamond Hall of Fame for having achieved sales in excess of $1m.
Valerie Goulevitch is Global Marketing Director and comments on the success of the week. “Our partner network is unique in the world of planning and scheduling and this year’s was the best ever. Our partner network has continued to grow, along with our sales, even in the midst of the recent financial crisis. In 2010 we added 8 partners and have added a further 14so far in 2011. It was excellent to welcome some of them here to exchange ideas with our long established partners. Everyone left energised and agreed it had been a very positive week.”
For Mike Novels, Preactor International’s CEO, a key highlight was the positive interest in the company’s forthcoming Preactor Link solution. “Because Preactor is so inherently flexible and scalable our solutions are used with an incredibly diverse range of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Consequently our joint development with Missing Link Technologies of the Preactor Link, a solution that provides seamless connectivity and automation of traffic between Preactor and any ERP and MES system, will make it easier than ever for manufacturers to liberate the full range of benefits that Preactor can bring.”
