PFM highlights entry level machines at Pro2Pac
Italian manufacturer PFM Packaging Machinery is demonstrating its two latest entry-level machines for the food industry at Pro2Pac
The Pearl servo-driven flow-wrapper and the ZC1 combined weigher-bagger will be highlighted at the show.
“Both machines have been developed to meet the need for inexpensive systems that nevertheless offer a high degree of flexibility and accuracy and are simple to use,” said PFM sales and operations director Chris Bolton.
The Pearl provides smaller or start-up operations with a multi-axis servo drive, reducing maintenance requirements and providing easy programming and changeover for different pack formats, which can be held in memory for press-button recall.
The ZC1 is an integrated multihead weigher and bagging machine for mid-speed duties up to 80 bags a minute, handling dry goods such as snacks, confectionery, pet-food, granular products, biscuits and short pasta.
