BOSSAR will be exhibiting once again at this year’s Pack Expo trade fair in Chicago, displaying exciting and innovative new technological features and machines in our booth located at 4131 in the Upper Floor of the North Hall.
PMP 2600 / IMC
Our PMP 2600 pre-made pouch machine is an industry-leader for filling and sealing sachet and stand-up pouches. This machine cycles at 7o per minute and can be configured to run up to 4 pouches per cycle for maximum output. The PMP is equipped with an open controls platform from Rockwell Automation featuring a large touchscreen for easy
machine operation.
The PMP uses an indexing conveyor to feed stacks of pre-made pouches to the reciprocating pouch feeder. As the pouches are fed into grippers a unique and innovative pouch squaring device insures that the pouches are properly positioned in the grippers to insure reliable filling and quality top sealing. The machine is equipped with an auger filler for the Show but can also accommodate weigh scales, volumetric cup fillers, liquid pump
fillers and other specialty filling systems.
Integrated with the PMP pouch machine we are showing our brand new Bossar IMC intermittent motion cartoner. This machine is designed with the same attention to quality expected of Bossar equipment and allows Bossar to provide our customers with a completely integrated pouch packaging solution.
The IMC can cycle at 60 per minute and can to run up to 2 cartons per cycle for maximum output. The machine platform can be configured as 6”, 9”, 12” or 18” pitch to suit the application. Like the PMP, the cartoner is designed with an open controls platform with touchscreen operator panel.
Glued-end or tuck cartons can be run on the equipment as well as display and 5th panel cartons and specialty shapes.
STICK 400
Bossar is also proud to present a stick pack machine from our machinery partner Tecmar SA. The Stick 400 is a high-quality stick pack machine designed to cycle at 7o per minute and can be configured to run up to 12
lanes per cycle for a maximum output of 840 stick packs per minute. Like the rest of our equipment the Stick 400 is equipped with an open controls platform and a touchscreen for easy machine operation.
The Stick 400 produces pouches from roll stock and fills, seals and cuts stick packs during each cycle. This machinery features maintenancefriendly access to the sealing and cutting areas for quick, easy and thorough cleaning. The machine is equipped with a volumetric filler for the Show but can also accommodate auger fillers, liquid pump fillers and other specialty filling systems.
