Pacepacker Presents New Bagging, Packing and Palletising Solutions at PPMA 2012 – Stand C70
Automation specialist Pacepacker Services, who has amassed five prestigious EEF and Food Processing industry awards in the last 12 months for their company, export and automation prowess, will showcase a broad range of their award winning new tray packing, bagging and palletising solutions at the PPMA Show 2012 on stand C70.
The Show debut of Pacepacker’s new FlexaPac system – a patented tray and crate packing solution for delicate netted fruits, vegetables and other foods which achieves throughput of 60 packs per minute and eliminates waste– will demonstrate how this unique automation solution has overcome the traditionally labour intensive and waste prone process of packing netted delicate products into shelf ready cartons, trays and crates. As a 15 year long FANUC strategic partner, another highlight of the Pacepacker stand is the compact FANUC M-710iC high speed six axis palletising robot with multi-purpose end effector. This versatile palletiser is ideal for manufacturers with limited space and those looking to stack numerous product types, including trays, sacks and crates, without part changeover. Pacepacker’s Sack Placer and Total Bag Control (TBC) System will conclude this year’s line-up, which accurately seals difficult to handle sacks of bulk products and now offers a variety of optional mobility kits which allows the TBC system to work across multiple production lines.
Dennis Allison, MD of Pacepacker Services, comments: “When working with manufacturers who are dealing with budget and space restrictions, it is essential that we not only demonstrate the waste reduction ability and speed of our machines to aid a quick ROI, but their versatility too.
Testament to this diversity, we modified our standard Total Bag Control System for a major horse feed manufacturer, Nash, to incorporate a sliding rails system so that the machine could toggle between multiple production lines overcoming the customer’s space constraints and meeting their objective to eliminate contamination between the two different products being bagged on each line.”
PPMA 2012 is a timely opportunity for Pacepacker’s new sales force to meet and greet decision makers from a wide variety of industries, which this prestigious Show affords. Appointed to fulfil current demand and growth potential, two new Sales Managers, Brian Bell and Chris Francis, have joined Pacepacker to head up the company’s bagging/palletising and pick & place product ranges respectively.
