Oystar boost for yoghurt cup producer

Milchhof Sterzing has installed two Oystar A+F packaging lines for yoghurt cup production to decrease changeover time.
The SetLine packaging systems can handle up to 22,000 cups per hour and features integrated top-sleeving technology.
It also supports operation without sleeves, allowing the firm to package single cups.
Products are supplied by conveyor belts and sleeved to sets of two or eight cups and the machine includes a servo-controlled tray compensator for pre-grouping and positioning of trays.
South Tyrol-based Milchhof markets its dairy products throughout Italy, with annual sales in the yoghurt market of €62m.
