New Executive Director at FrieslandCampina Ingredients
The Executive Board of Royal FrieslandCampina intends to appoint Tine Snels (pictured) as Executive Director of the FrieslandCampina Ingredients business group with effect from 1 June 2015. Tine Snels will take over responsibility for the business group from Roelof Joosten, who will succeed Cees ’t Hart as CEO of Royal FrieslandCampina on the same date.
Tine Snels joined FrieslandCampina in July 2012 as Managing Director of operating company FrieslandCampina Kievit, part of the FrieslandCampina Ingredients business group. Tine Snels has nearly 20 years’ experience in management functions in the business-to-business ingredients, additives and animal feeds market.
The FrieslandCampina Ingredients business group supplies natural ingredients based on milk, cheese whey and vegetable raw materials to industrial customers in the infant nutrition branch, the food industry, the pharmaceutical industry and the young animal feed industry worldwide. In 2013 the FrieslandCampina Ingredients business realised a net revenue of Eur2.3 billion, has offices in 11 countries (Netherlands, Germany, United States of America, Indonesia, China, Singapore, Japan, Brazil, Egypt, New Zealand and India) and employs 3,000 people. Operating companies of the business group are FrieslandCampina Domo, FrieslandCampina DMV, FrieslandCampina Kievit, FrieslandCampina Creamy Creation, FrieslandCampina Nutrifeed and DFE Pharma.
