Nestlé to reveal all on ‘inclusive design’ at PN’s Packaging for Retail Success
Nestlé’s inclusive approach to packaging design is set to come under the spotlight at this year’s Packaging for Retail Success conference, run by Packaging News
Ben Mortimer, packaging design coordinator for zone Europe at Nestlé, will speak at the 8 November conference on how the food giant developed and has implemented the approach.
Mortimer is one of a number of high-profile speakers at the event, which will also see presentations from the London 2012 Olympics, Asda, Unilever, design agencies Pearlfisher and BrandOpus among many others.
His talk will cover how Nestlé works to place consumers at the centre of its packaging development as it aims to create products that are easy for all consumers to locate and use.
Inclusive design was first revealed as a key guiding philosophy for Nestlé’s packaging development at the start of the year. The approach has been developed in conjunction with Cambridge University.
Mortimer is one of a number of high-profile speakers taking part in the event, which is sponsored by DS Smith Packaging, MMR Research and Paragon Print & Packaging.
