Nestlé to Invest €80 Million in Dutch Baby Food Expansion

Nestle is to invest €80 million to expand its baby food factory at Nunspeet in the Netherlands with the construction of a new plant for the production of special formulas for babies with protein allergies. There has been an increase in the number of food allergies with a sharp rise in the last ten years. In some industrialised countries, ten percent of babies have a food allergy.
The expansion of the will be operational in 2017. The pant currently employs more than than 300 people.
