Naturex Highly Commended For Sustainability and Environment Initiative of the Year at NuW Excellence Awards
Naturex was announced as NuW Excellence Awards finalist and has achieved highly commended status in the Sustainability & Environmental Initiative of the Year category by UBM plc main organiser of the Health Ingredients Europe event, which took place at the Messe Frankfurt between the 13th and 15th November 2012.
Close to 40 entries were received into the awards with submissions coming from mainland Europe,Taiwan,Chinaand theUnited States. Chairman of judges Peter Wennstrom commented on the finalists: “The calibre of entries submitted and the level of interest in the 2012 NuW Excellence Awards programme was impressive.”
For example the Naturex Foundation – Jacques Dikansky has refurbished in partnership with a local non-profit organization called E.M.A (Enfance Maghreb Avenir) association, a school located close to its factory in Casablanca(Morocco).
Antoine Dauby, Secretary of the Naturex Foundation – Jacques Dikansky, stated: “We are pleased to see our efforts recognized this way. Our Foundation is one of the ways to shape our business in the best interests of the communities where we source our raw materials. This recognition is also a great homage to our former president and C.E.O., Mr Dikansky who passed away this year and created our Foundation.”
Building on the renowned Innovation Awards, the NuW Excellence Awards 2012 have recognised individuals and business for their exemplary work and contribution to the industry.
