Multivac: Tailored packaging solutions for producers of meat and sausage product
With the R 235 thermoforming packaging machine, MULTIVAC is pre-senting a new economic model for the packaging of sliced products. The R 235 is equipped as standard with format sets and sealing dies, which are specially tailored to producing flat packs of sliced products and have an interface for attaching slicers. Thanks to a lowered film infeed, the loading conveyor of the slicer can be placed horizontally at the height of the machine frame. This enables the length of the machine to be reduced significantly. At IFFA the machine will be exhibited with the MBS 200 converging system with pack ejection and an L 330 conveyor belt labeller, which ensures that packs of sliced products are perfectly labelled with side-driven toothed belt guides.
Especially for small processors, MULTIVAC is exhibiting the compact
R 085 e-concept thermoforming packaging machine, which does not require water and compressed air connections, as well as the entry-level model R 105 MF, which is designed for the production of MultiFreshTM vacuum skin packaging.
Traysealers for industrial meat processing
From its traysealer portfolio, MULTIVAC is presenting two fully automat-ed solutions for the packaging of meat and sausage products in small and medium-sized or large batches. As the smallest fully automatic traysealer from MULTIVAC, the T 300 is suitable for packing small to medium-sized batches. It has energy-efficient drive systems and can be washed down. The machine can be configured with multiple tracks, ena-bles quick die changes and can be combined with a variety of discharge systems. The T 300 will be equipped at the trade fair with a TVI slicer for fillets and steaks.
The high-performance traysealer T 800 is suitable for packaging large batches and can be integrated into automated packaging lines. It has energy-efficient drive systems, can be washed down and allows for quick die changes. The scalable machine can be operated from both sides and is available with a variety of equipment options. At IFFA, the
T 800 can be seen in the largest version as part of an automatic packag-ing line. This consists of a denester with tray tracking, conveyor belts, a metal detector, an L 310 conveyor belt labeller for the top and bottom labelling and an H 130 handling module, which inserts the packs into E-boxes.
Packaging in pouches
At the trade fair the B 610 chamber belt machine, which will be inte-grated in a complete shrink packaging line with shrinking and drying units, and a new entry-level model will be presented from MULTIVAC’s portfolio of chamber belt machines.
The chamber machine models of the BASELINE series and the C series target small processors in particular. At the trade fair, MULTIVAC will be presenting the new BASELINE P 650 double chamber machine, which is particularly suitable for packing bulky or long food products. It enables high-quality pouch packs in proven MULTIVAC quali-ty to be produced at an attractive price. MULTIVAC is also exhibiting the BASELINE P 360, C 400 and C 200 chamber machine models.
