Müller gets new pallet wrapper from Linkx Systems

Linkx Systems has provided Müller Dairy with a new compact pallet wrapper for its repack hall at its Market Drayton site

The machine, a Siat by Linkx SW2L, has been customised for the company, which supplies chilled yogurts and desserts. The new pallet wrapper is capable of handling CHEP and Euro pallets with a maximum height of 1.75 m at speeds of up to 20 cycles per hour.

To meet Müller Dairy’s operational requirements, the machine includes a heated pre-stretch system and automatic cut off and it has been supplied with a custom ramp that allows easy access by electric trucks as well as standard pallet trucks. The custom ramp has also been configured to give a smoother transfer of pallets to the turntable.
