mh_bottlegreenUK-based packaging manufacturer M&H Plastics has produced a new 50ml (polyethylene terephthalate) PET bottle for SHS Drinks’ bottlegreen brand.

M&H Plastics, which is a part of RPC Group, has developed, tooled, moulded and finished the new bottles at its Beccles plant in UK.

The bottles were initially produced to provide added value as an inclusion of a 50ml serve in a twin pack of 750ml glass sparkling pressés for Waitrose meal deals.

SHS Drinks soft drinks marketing director Amanda Grabham said: “M&H has shown that it is really on top of the game with our project.

“Not only has its team performed superbly with the market-beating turnaround for the product, they have kept us informed and advised us throughout the process.

“The new markets that this bottle has opened up will mean that bottlegreen will continue to benefit from an expanded market without sacrificing any quality or production and marketing issues.”

M&H Plastics has used lighter plastic to produce the bottles, which provides more space when put on pallets, and reduces distribution and logistics costs.

Additionally, the new plastic bottles have opened new markets in foodservice, transport markets, especially aviation, and on-the-go for SHS Drinks.

Recently, M&H launched a new Quaffer shot-tail glass for the retail sector across Europe.

The new Quaffer glass, manufactured in PET, helps bars to mix different drinks in equal measure with one floating on top of the other.
