McCain Foods GB launches Jacket Smiles for kids
In the United Kingdom, McCain Foods has launched Jacket Smiles for kids, following the runaway success of its Ready Baked Jackets.
Since their launch last year, the Ready Baked Jackets have started to revolutionise the way consumers in the UK eat jacket potatoes at home.
The new McCain Jackets Smiles are developed specifically for kids aged up to 10 years old and offer them a nutritious meal.
The smaller size is perfect for smaller appetites, delivering the same great taste, smell and potato goodness of a slow oven-baked jacket potato, in just three minutes from frozen.
Simply prepared from whole potatoes, with a light drizzle of sunflower oil, each potato features its very own smiley face stamped into the potato skin, bringing fun to any kids meal. All of this ensures that McCain Jacket Smiles have real appeal for kids and help deliver the perfect, nutritious and hassle free meal time solution for parents.
McCain Ready Baked Jackets are newly crowned as Product of the Year in the Food Category and have recorded sales of £20m to date, which is the equivalent of 40m potatoes.
