Loders Croklaan offers a look into its innovative Creative Studio
Visitors to this year’s Food Ingredients Europe 2011 exhibit in Paris, France will have an opportunity to experience Loders Croklaan’s Creative Studio processes during demonstrations of the studio’s latest workshops. Over the past years, these workshops have proven to be a highly effective tool in inspiring new ideas and accelerating product innovation.
The Creative Studio, located at the company headquarters in Wormerveer, The Netherlands, gives product developers and other food industry professionals the opportunity to test and experiment with the latest trends in confectionery under the guidance of chocolate experts.
This summer saw the kick-off of the newest workshop, ‘Foamy Fantasies’, which focuses on aerated chocolate confectionery and bakery products. The combination of richness and lightness remains ever-popular with consumers worldwide, and can be applied to create highly successful products.
In practice, the workshop consists of two days. On the first, participants learn all about artisanal techniques for making foams and mousses in a session designed to inspire and spark ideas for new products. On the second day, Creative Studio experts use their specialized fats and application knowledge to assist participants in making high-quality industrial recipes based on ideas developed the day before.
During the FIE 2011, artisanal chocolate expert Arthur Tuytel and other members of the Creative Studio team will demonstrate abbreviated versions of the workshop sessions on 29 and 30 November, and 1 December, at the Loders Croklaan booth #3D13 in the exhibit hall.
