Kliklok’s new Collating Robotic Loader
Kliklok launched their new Collating Robotic Loader and Race Track system at the recent PPMA exhibition, and attracted the attention of many major food companies.
A brand new innovation from Kliklok, the CRL is a flexible machine ideally suited to handle the output from low to high speed machines, such as flow wrappers, and collate wrapped products into cartons or trays at up to 600 products per minute. The CRL incorporates advanced design electronic motion control technology using a combination of servo motor drives and a robotic Flex Picker.
The CRL has a servo driven product infeed conveyor with vacuum belt and abort system, plus a servo driven race track, all with digital linear timing adjustment for increased accuracy. Carton infeed and positioning belts are also servo driven with a simple quick release system for size change.
Three versions of the CRL are available depending on speed and tracking distance requirements, with optional modules such as a Carton Management System which provides automatic set up for continuous running of cartons – avoiding ‘dead time’ waiting for cartons to index.
With software written in OMAC (PackML) standard, the menu-driven touch screen enables easy setting and adjustment of all conveyor speeds, collations and robotic positioning, as well as accessing shift data, performance monitoring, on-screen diagnostics and multi-language selection.
