JBS to List its International Business in the US
The world’s largest beef processor, JBS of Brazil, is to list its international business, JBS Foods International, which is currently based in The Netherlands, in the United States as part of a planned reorganisation. The IPO is expected to be completed during the first half of 2017.
JBS Food International incorporates all of the international businesses of JBS, including Northern Ireland-based poultry processor Moy Park, plus Seara. JBS will continue to manage and control the Brazilian beef business and related activities including leather processing.
Wesley Mendonça Batista will be the Chairman, a non-executive director, of JBS Foods International. Gilberto Tomazoni, who has held senior executive positions at JBS for the past four years, will be the CEO, while Russ Colaco will be CFO. JBS believes that this revised structure and proposed IPO reflects its global production platform, product portfolio and broad international customer base.
