Ishida Europe to Showcase Seafood Packing Solutions at Seafood Processing 2013
At Seafood Processing 2013 Ishida Europe will showcase a range of seafood packing solutions that help manufacturers achieve maximum efficiencies, excellent quality and high throughput. As well as the latest model from its multihead weigher range, the company will also demonstrate recent advances in tray sealers, checkweighers and X-ray inspection systems.
The recently-launched Ishida QX-775-Flex tray sealer combines a compact design with high speeds for MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) trays of up to 15 cycles per minute, along with maximum hygiene and high quality pack and product presentation. The system is also compatible with a variety of packaging applications including standard MAP, skinpack and shrink film, making it ideal for all types of fish and seafood products. The tray sealer offers a high return on floor space through its compact design and high output capability, and can also be easily integrated to form part of a complete packing line.
The Ishida DACS-G checkweigher is capable of exceptional speeds while maintaining high accuracy. At the touch of a button, the checkweigher can switch between two weighing ranges, allowing fish processors to handle more products on one machine. A unique Dislocating Force Limiter automatically disconnects the weigh sensor from the weigh conveyor should sudden excessive force be applied (for example, during clean down), protecting the DACS-G against rough handling.
Ishida’s IX-GA-4075 X-ray inspection system can detect a variety of contaminants including metal, glass, bones, shells, stones, hard rubber and plastic. The machine’s unique self-learning Genetic Algorithm (GA) technology offers maximum detection sensitivity and reliability, with the most sophisticated models able to spot impurities down to 0.3mm in size. This means IX-GA models can also be used for other quality control operations such as product grading by length, presence of clips, voids in product, product deformation, missing or damaged pieces, and fill-level control.
Ishida Europe will be at stand 4-6161 in hall 4.
