Invopak unveils brand new service at PI show
Rigid packaging containers giant Invopak will be unveiling a brand new service offering from one of its suppliers, Emballator Packaging UK, at Packaging Innovations
Emballator Packaging UK manufactures a range of tinplate lever lid tins at its production plant in Bradford which are used for storing and transporting paints, solvents and chemicals.
A significant investment in new printing technology means Emballator is now able to offer SME customers high-quality labelling and printing options on a par with those used by multi-national operations.
Invopak sales director Scott Sandilands said: “We are delighted to be able to provide this bespoke service from Emballator to our customers. Until now smaller producers haven’t been able to use more complicated designs that are seen on tins sold by the bigger brands. The introduction of this new service has enormous potential for our clients that use lever lid tins.”
Emballator Packaging UK was established in Bradford in 1999 by Swedish parent company, Emballator Metal Group.
Managing director of the UK operation Gerard Dibb said: “Innovation is at the heart of our company’s ethos – we are constantly striving to offer our customers a superior service tailored around the needs of their business. Prohibitive print costs for below minimum and very low print quantities have meant that historically smaller manufacturers couldn’t benefit from the same quality of printing as larger companies. The introduction of our latest equipment means we can now offer digital printing on runs from as little as 100 tin sheets.”
Invopak chief executive Arjen Cooper Rolfe added: “Invopak is continually looking at ways we can improve our customers’ experience – by meeting them in person at shows like Packaging Innovations, we can speak to them directly about the issues they’re facing and adapt our business accordingly.”
