Innovators of Natural Flavour Launch New SigNATURE® Range
Expert natural flavour creators, Omega Ingredients, have announced the creation of their brand new SigNATURE® range, a collection of 100% pure and natural flavours that are true to life, meaning the taste experience is indistinguishable from the original ingredient.
With consumers demanding more authenticity and less synthetic flavourings in even the most processed of foods, Omega Ingredients intend for the SigNATURE® range to help manufacturers meet the challenge of developing products that mirror how fresh foodstuffs genuinely taste. Having studied fruits and aromats at a molecular level, Omega have created their corresponding flavours to match the fresh product on a minute level.
The SigNATURE® range of natural flavours can be used in any number of applications, including, but not limited to, beverages, baked goods and confectionery, and can also be tailored to suit individual product needs.
Officially launching this September, flavours in the range include Wild Strawberry, Ripe Banana, Alphonso Mango and Freshly Picked Garden Pea. Moving away from artificial, sweet notes in typical fruit flavourings, the SigNATURE® brand apes the taste and smell of the natural produce, so you can sense the fur of a peach or taste the freshness in a rosemary flavour that seems like it has just been cut from the shrub.
The development of the new SigNATURE® range of flavours is the latest NPD from Omega’s innovative biochemist Steve Pearce, who also launched the 100% natural flavour solution ΩMegaSweet® earlier this year. ΩMegaSweet® allows for unprecedented genuine ‘mouth-feel’ and the indulgent taste of sucrose with zero after-taste, a result that is impossible to achieve through the use of traditional sugar alternatives. As well as delivering on mouth-feel it can also be used to boost the flavour profile of the finished product and tailored to carry notes such as citrus, cola or any botanical blend the client requires.
