Innovation is the Focus at London’s Biggest Packaging Show
International buyers and leading decision makers will be flocking to Packaging Innovations London 2015 to see the most innovative and original suppliers within the packaging industry. The exclusive two day event for branded and inspirational packaging takes place on 16 & 17 September, at Olympia London.
Over 150 companies have already signed up to exhibit at the 2015 show, with show organiser, Easyfairs. Innovation will take centre stage, with numerous exhibitors using the show to launch never before seen products and services to the packaging market. For instance
Vesna Printing Plant will showcase its new microembossing press and latest microembossing samples. The company, who specialises in luxury carton stand out, will explore how microembossing transforms the plain surface of paper or cardboard into a determined relief structure of desired design.
For all those interested in lithography, Smurfit Kappa will be launching its new KartonFlute Lite. At 750 microns it offers high quality offset printing with tight registration and finer screens for better detail and colour fidelity, with none of the set-up costs associated with preprint or litho laminated corrugated board.
Offering a total grease resistance is Amberley with its new-to-market self-adhesive paper, Tintoretto Gesso greaseproof. The product combines aesthetic excellence and technological advances that have been rigorously tested using accelerated ageing, with variable conditions applied for temperature and humidity to ensure that the label would not show any degradation either in aspect or in oil barrier properties.
Lightning Packaging will be presenting its latest innovation, Korrvu. It is a special, super-tough film, which cradles your product, when in transit, preventing the contents from touching any external forces, which might cause damage. The flexible super-tough film allows for a wide variety of shapes and sizes to be packaged using only one size, further reducing the costs and storage space, plus it is 100 percent recyclable.
International exhibitor, Bedford Industries, returns to London to capture the visitors’ attention, with its latest range of products to help increase shelf stand-out. It will be demonstrating its one-of-a-kind ElastiTag, a special elastomer loop that grips the product and stays in place allowing the tagging of uniquely shaped items.
Leading supplier of cosmetic bottles and jars, PET Power, will be showcasing several ranges, among them its Saturnus bottle range, consisting of five different volumes, all with a conical top, which ensures that every size is given a more visual ‘facing’ on the shelf. Also joining the cosmetics line-up will be Benson Group, Clarke Rubicon, Collcap Packaging, Curtis, Design Plus Health & Beauty and Dieter Bakic Group.
More than just an exhibition, the 2015 show has more content than ever before, with a host of new show features, including The Live Design Challenge, The Great Innovation Debate and The Student Design Challenge, plus an array of educational and inspirational Learnshops seminars live on the show floor.
