HP names Irish Foxpak as ‘best creator of flexible packaging’
HP has named Foxpak Flexibles as the best creator of flexible packaging at the “Inkspiration Awards” at the Dscoop EMEA conference in Israel.
The Irish packaging firm has reported strong demand in business for creating packaging for seeds, artisan produce and organic food in Ireland.
Chief executive Paul Young claims Foxpak was one of the first companies to create stand up pouches and packaging with spouts, and the first company to develop digital flexible packaging globally – and claimed that HP has also credited the Irish firm as being the first to develop digital flexible packaging globally.
“We’ve definitely seen a huge leap in the number of people coming to us to help us create packaging for the food sector. People probably don’t put too much thought into the packaging of the food they eat but because we’ve been really innovative with what we do, we’re making sure that it’s convenient and user friendly from both the food producer and people at home who are consuming the products. It’s great to be recognised internationally and named as the best at what we do.”
