Greggs ups production of frozen line with new carton kit

High street bakery chain Greggs has installed kit from T Freemantle to assist in packing frozen items for national supermarkets.
Greggs has ordered three Semi-Automatic End-Load Cartoners to cope with increased demand. According to T Freemantle the machines can operate at 80 cartons per minute and offer a wide range of carton sizes.
In addition, it incorporates a “quick and easy size change method, allowing for increased versatility, and made from stainless steel”.
Greggs are offering their sausage rolls, apple turnovers and other items as frozen products and were in need of end of line packaging machinery to meet new demand.
