Global Role For Muller Dairy Marketing Chief
A key member of the team behind the resurgence of the Müller brand in the UK and Ireland has been given an expanded global marketing role within the company. Michael Inpong (pictured) has been instrumental in reviving the UK and ROI Müller portfolio of yogurt and chilled desserts products including Müller Corner, Müllerlight, Müller Rice and Cadbury chilled desserts, in his position as Müller Dairy Marketing and R&D Director.
He took up his new global role as Chief Marketing Officer for Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller in January, and will remain in charge of UK and Ireland marketing and R&D operations as part of his expanded brief.
In the past two years the company has introduced more than 100 products including the relaunch of Müller Corner, Müllerlight and Müller Rice and award winning variants like de Luxe Corner and Kids Corner.
Müller has led the way in the Greek Style yogurt category in the UK with Müllerlight Greek Style, and brought on board distinctive new ambassadors like Nicole Scherzinger, Tasty B and the Müllerlight lifeguard to build further interest in their brands.
The Müller brand revitalisation was recognised with the award of The Grocer’s Brand of the Year in June 2014.

Müller UK& Ireland Group is wholly owned by the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller. It has 19 sites nationwide and employs almost 6,000 people across four business units: Müller Dairy, Müller Wiseman Dairies, Müller Minsterley and TM Telford.
