Egemin wins international AGVS Award in Shanghai
The Belgian automation company Egemin Automation has received the international AGV-S Award from the International Logistics Center at the internal CeMAT Asia logistics show in Shanghai. The ILC is an independent organisation in the field of internal logistical processes. With the AGV-S Award it rewards achievement, innovation and excellence in the field of Automated Guided Vehicle Systems. These are fully automatic transport systems using unmanned vehicles.
The international jury was led by Prof. Dr Lindu Zhao of the Southeast University in Nanjing and Prof. Dr Lothar Schulze of the German Leibniz University in Hannover.
Egemin received the Award for its international approach, dedication to customers, spotless system integrations and special contribution to technological standards for automated guided vehicle. Customers throughout the world use Egemin’s AGV systems for internal goods transport in their warehouses, manufacturing plants and distribution environments.
The AGV-S Award was awarded for the third time. Previous winners have included the German company Sick, a partner of Egemin for the delivery of safety and navigation sensors on AGV vehicles.
