Esther Paran, PhD, will present at Vitafoods Europe Conference, May 23rd, introducing the conclusions of this and other clinical research on Lyc-O-Mato’s abilities to help protect against prehypertension and hypertension as cardiovascular risk factors, and explain the effect of tomato and tomato products such as Lyc-O-Mato as important antioxidant sources in diet. Included will be a description of her pioneer study on tomato extract capsules for reduction of blood pressure in hypertensive patients. She will also demonstrate the superior beneficial effect of natural lycopene extract on blood pressure compared to synthetic lycopene.
