The Carlsberg Group has signed an agreement regarding the sale of its remaining undeveloped land at the Tuborg site north of Copenhagen to the Danish pension fund, Danica. The transaction is in line with the group’s ambitions of disposing of non-core assets, improving return on invested capital and reducing financial leverage.
The Carlsberg Group will receive a cash payment of DKr600-700 million (Eur80-94 million) post tax from the disposal. The transaction is subject to the registration of title of the land by the authorities.
