BPIF’s Carton Conference Attracts Global Brands
The Carton Conference in October, organised by BPIF Cartons at London’s Business Design Centre, has attracted the attention of some of the world’s largest brand owners as well as leading UK multiple retailers.
Registration for the conference, which has only been open for a few weeks, has already seen delegates from a number of global brands pledge their commitment to attend. The stellar list includes influential people from Coty, Kellogg, L’Oreal, Mars, Nestlé, Twinings, Thorntons and United Biscuits – to name but a few. As well as these brand owners, delegates are expected to attend from some of the most prestigious names in UK food retailing including Marks & Spencer, Tesco and Waitrose.
Robert Davison, BPIF Carton’s Chairman, said, “The Carton Conference is expected to provide an unmatched networking opportunity and will be relevant to anyone with an interest in cartons – from suppliers to packaging specifiers. This interest in the conference reflects an exciting time for the carton sector particularly as the environment is at the forefront of many brand-owners’ minds. The conference will showcase the latest developments in materials and print effects which makes them a natural choice for any brand owner. I’m delighted to see so many big names pledge their interest and I expect further household names will be added to the list over the coming weeks.”
The Carton Conference enjoys a strong link with the easyFairs Packaging Innovations exhibition which immediately follows the conference. Robert went onto say, “This link basically means delegates get two worthwhile events under the same roof at the same time. Anyone wishing to attend can register their details on the website.”
