Blue Marlin creates new packaging for Maggi
Design agency Blue Marlin has revamped the packaging for Nestlé’s new Maggi Just for 2 range of recipes
The new look has rolled out in Australian stores and the products target younger consumers without children. According to Blue Marlin, the Maggi signature yellow pantone was updated with an illuminating white sunburst background.
Silver highlights are designed to reinforce Just for 2’s foil-pouch freshness and contribute to its overall modern aesthetic. Quirky typography adds a sense of colourful informality to on-pack communications.
“Our big idea was: ‘delicious dishes; job done!’,” said Blue Marlin Sydney associate creative director Polly Williams. “Aspirational food photography presented across two plates and the introduction of a graphic device that talks to the Maggi range, delivers consumer ease, speed, and convenience to drive the proposition home.”
