Bionov to Launch New Ingredient for Beauty Instant Drinks
Vitafoods Europe 2013 will see the launch of Bionov’s new nutricosmetic innovation available for instant drink application. CELLULIGHT S, a 100% natural active ingredient with clinical demonstrated efficacy against cellulite, has a specific coating newly develop to assure total dispersion in cold beverages.
Bionov proposes a real innovation on the beauty market with CELLULIGHT S, the only ingredient with clinical evidences on cellulite, now available for instant drink applications. The coating newly developed is totally dispersible in cold temperature. Stable in water and acid conditions, this grade S coating is also tasteless and colorless.
CELLULIGHT S is a natural melon juice concentrate rich in superoxide dismutase (SOD), with both mechanistic and clinical studies on anti-cellulite action. A double-blind, randomized placebo controlled clinical study on 41 healthy women with cellulite on thighs and/or stomach has demonstrated that Cellulight administrated orally (40mg/day) reduces cellulite up to 9.5% (compared to placebo) after only 28 days of supplementation (* p<0,05). This decrease reaches 11.3% after 56 days of supplementation (* p<0,05).
