Anna Malmhake Wins Irish CEO of the Year Award 2015
Anna Malmhake (pictured), chief executive of Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard has won the title of CEO of the Year at the recent IMAGE Businesswoman Awards 2015. The annual awards are organised by IMAGE Publication, one of Ireland’s leading publishers of magazines that produces ‘Ireland’s best read women’s glossy’ since 1975. The shortlisted candidates cover a range of nine categories including start-ups, entrepreneurship and digital as well as creative and young businesswomen.
Anna Malmhake came out on top against seven shortlisted CEOs across a variety of sectors. Since 2011, Anna has brought all her strategic management and marketing skills to bear in this role, as well as her commercial understanding, on the continued rapid development of Jameson Irish Whiskey as an icon of the global spirits industry.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Social Science, Business and Law degree from the University of Stockholm. She started her career in 1991 at Procter & Gamble in Sweden and then joined The Coca Cola Company in Stockholm at the end of 1996, where she held various marketing positions. From 2001 to 2011, Anna worked in diverse roles across the drinks industry, including Marketing Director of the Coca Cola Swedish bottler, Global Brand Director and Marketing Director of the Absolut Company.
