Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) Ltd is an Irish owned Automation Solution Provider with a twenty-year history. It recently completed a €700k investment for the acquisition of two additional adjacent units in its existing Park West Industrial Park location. This effectively doubles the floorspace available to AIS, allowing for additional staff members and the ability to massively increase customer fulfilment.

The additional space will provide:

  • An extension to the existing manufacturing floor.
  • Increased modern office space.
  • A fully functional customer demonstration area, showcasing the latest available machinery and technology.
  • A 25% increase in staff numbers during 2021, with the ability to widen the portfolio of products and services available to customers.

Simon Smyth, CEO of AIS Ltd commented “Our new facility will allow us to double staff numbers in the next 3 years in line with our projections. We’ve seen significant growth in 2020, and despite the Covid crisis, our order book for 2021 is very strong. Our projections beyond that are extremely positive. The new facility gives us the much-needed space to take on larger automation projects and the ability to deliver exciting new, more specialised technologies and support that our customers deserve. We are proud of our ability to support many more customer projects in this time of need”.

AIS has always taken a consultative and collaborative approach when working with customers. They like to go above and beyond when it comes to developing and delivering automation solutions. Their 20-year history ensures that existing and new customers are looked after pre and post sales.

Despite current circumstances AIS has seen an increased demand for its services, particularly in the medical device/pharmaceutical industries where tireless efforts are being made to help save lives. There has also been greater collaboration with food/beverage manufacturing and distribution, where it has become critical to meet rising ecommerce business.
