Camden Town Brewery, the London-based English craft brewer, is preparing to open its new brewing facility at Enfield, close to its existing site in Kentish Town. Involving investment of £30 million, the new 50,000 sq ft, carbon neutral brewery site will increase the company’s production to 400,000 hectolitres a year. The new Enfield brewery will produce all of Camden’s core beers including Camden Hells, Camden Pale Ale, Gentleman’s Wit, Camden Pils Lager, IHL Lager and Ink Stout. The project marks the largest investment in the brewing industry in London for three decades.

“The railway arches in Kentish Town will remain the heart and soul of Camden Town Brewery, but our expansion to Enfield allows us to increase our capacity so ultimately we can bring great beer to more people,” says Jasper Cuppaidge, founder and chief executive of Camden Town Brewery. “It’s a phenomenal opportunity to extend into another north London community and to be a part of the impressive redevelopment that’s taking place in Enfield. We can’t wait to open our doors!”

Camden Town Brewery is now part of Anheuser-Busch InBev, after being acquired by the world’s largest brewer in 2015 in a deal reported to be worth about £85 million.
