Leadership Change at Ferrero Group
The Ferrero Group has decided to introduce a new governance structure to strengthen its competitive position in the global chocolate and sweet packaged food market and to accelerate growth. Giovanni Ferrero (pictured), chief executive of Ferrero Group, will assume the role of executive chairman as of September 1st, 2017. As such, he will drive the group by focusing on long-term strategies, new business directions and breakthrough innovation, whilst assuring continuity in the company’s culture and values.
Lapo Civiletti, a highly ranked internal leader, will assume the role of chief executive as of September 1st, 2017. The new chief executive will drive all the activities focused on the achievements of the short and mid-term results.
